We are overwhelmed, exhausted and lonely. 

As adults we have all of this pressure to be perfect and have it all together. But in reality none of us even know what we are doing. 

We are in a constant state of chaos. We are filled with anxiety because of the need to have it all together. As women we suffer from constant self-doubt and worry, which causes us to feel depressed. Then we detach and go at it alone. Then we are lonely and feel as though there is no one else like us. There is no one else feeling the same because we check social media and see that everyone already has it all together. Because we only post the good things, right? We only post the highlight reel of our lives. I mean why would we want to put out there that we are anxious, or worried, or lonely, or feel like a bad mom, or terrible wife. Or we really don’t know what we are doing and we are just going through the motions. So we scroll and scroll and compare our crappy lives to the highlight reel of others.

We don’t have to have it all together. 

We don’t have to be perfect. 

We don’t have to do everything alone.

We are made for connection. 

We are constantly trying to do for everyone else, always putting others first, and then we get the leftovers. Well the leftovers aren’t very good, and there is never enough leftover energy to take care of you.

We need to allow ourselves time to stop. 

Be Calm. 

Allow yourself to breathe. 

Put yourself first. 

Take time for yourself each day, even if it is just 5 min, to sit in silence. Let go of all the noise and chaos around you and breathe.
