Fees and Insurance
Fees
Clinical staff bill according to their credentials and experience using a tier system. Please review the fee’s listed below and/or the staff pages for more information. Some counselors’ services may be eligible for insurance reimbursement, while others’ services are not reimbursable.

$50 for a 55 minute individual session.
$75 for a 55 minute couples session. *
$25 for a 30 min parent check in session. (Minors only)
*Tier 2- LPC- Associate (Counselor with a Temporary License, under weekly supervision by a LPC-S)
$130 for a 55 minute individual session.
$160 for a 55 minute couples session. *

$175 for a 55 minute couples session. *
$25 for a 30 min parent check in session. (Minors only)
*Practicum Students and LPC-Associates are not able to accept insurance, therefore are not “in-network” providers. They are able to provide counseling at the reduced rate listed above. (LPC-Associates are able to take Cigna and Aetna under their Clinical Supervisor)
**Some of our therapists are considered to be “in-network” providers with some insurances. We file insurance claims as a courtesy to our clients, but it remains the clients responsibility to remit payment for services rendered. Please contact your insurance company directly for information regarding your mental health benefits and expected expenses.
*Couples Sessions can be extended to 90 min by request, for an additional $50 added to the session fee.
Insurance
Please be aware that in order to bill your insurance you will need to be given a diagnosis. Your therapist will go over that with you at the first session. If you are not comfortable with that, you can elect to not use your insurance and pay the full fee per session.
We have a couple of therapists who are in network with some insurance plans, and some who are private pay only, but are at a reduced rate (please see the ‘tier system’ above for more information on who is able to accept insurance). If you choose to work with a therapist who is In Network, then we will take care of submitting claims on your behalf to your insurance provider. Please provide your insurance information when you schedule your first appointment, or go to the about page to request confirmation of insurance. Please note that you are responsible for all copays or deductibles.
If you decide to work with a therapist who is Not In Network with your plan, you will be responsible for the full fee per session. You might be able to get a full or partial reimbursement from your insurance for services, if you have ‘out of network’ benefits. Please check with your insurance provider prior to receiving services to see if this is an option for you and what the process is to get reimbursement. Please let your therapist know at the time of service if you need us to provide an insurance receipt, called a Superbill. If you need more information about requesting reimbursement for insurance, please reach out to your insurance provider. Please note that not all insurances will reimburse you for services.
Please check your coverage by asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is my coverage per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
