Life is so complicated.  Sometimes we feel that our lives are spinning out of our control.

In the midst of such chaos, maybe your emotions just seem to take over…

Or maybe you don’t feel much of anything anymore…

Perhaps you are caught in behavioral patterns that make you feel even more “stuck.”  Maybe you are trying to numb your pain, or you are simply trying “feel better,” by doing things that you know are not in your best interest.

Sometimes our past experiences seem like burdens that weigh us down.

Sometimes the uncertainty of the future causes intense anxiety or fear.

The good news: it doesn’t have to be that way!  We are not defined by our pasts.  Moreover, we can actively change the direction of our future.

So, while the past and the future are important, it is only within this present moment that we have the ability to make meaningful changes in our lives.

Together, we can learn to accept and even embrace what our emotions have to tell us about our needs.

Together, we can explore helpful ways to cope with life’s challenges and discover new paths towards a hopeful, bright future.

Let’s Get Started!

Who I help:

I work with teens and adults to identify and process their experiences and emotions so that they can regain a sense of control and agency in their lives.

How I help:

I will listen with open-minded, non-judgmental curiosity.  It is important to me to create a space in which you feel deeply supported so that you can really reflect on your personal experiences and fully explore your feelings.

What my clients say about working with me:

My clients have said that I create a safe space for them to explore their concerns.  They have said that our relationship helps them to feel seen, understood, and valued for who they really are.

Off the Clock:

I love spending quality time with my husband, family, and friends.  I like to relax by listening to music while taking walks in nature.  I get lost in a good story, and I am content to spend hours reading, listening to podcasts, or watching engrossing movies or television shows.

Fun Fact:

I love to travel!  I have been to 17 different countries on 3 continents.
