Approach:

My work is grounded in attachment theory and collaborative therapy because I believe deep healing and growth occur through respectful and authentic relationships - including the counselor-client relationship.

I can’t magically fix everything, but we can unpack the reasons why you might be struggling and explore ways to help you overcome the mental roadblocks holding you back.. There is no reason for you to struggle alone. Together, we can tackle all of the complications life throws your way.

I use treatment modalities like: CBT, DBT, and Family Systems.

Sometimes it feels like we can't catch a break from all the hurdles life throws our way. It can be overwhelming, and navigating these hurdles are tricky.

You feel as though you're stuck in a rut and just going through the motions in life.

Maybe you're not sleeping well or making time to take care of yourself.

You're not sure what your direction is in life, and thinking about the future gives you feelings of anxiety or hopelessness.

Your relationships are suffering because sometimes you can’t find the right words to communicate what you think and how you feel. You’re afraid you may be misunderstood.

Perhaps you're dealing with a major life transition, and the stress is overwhelming.

You long for peace and to thrive at life.

You are looking to find motivation and meaning in your life.

You want to recover your voice and communicate effectively.

You hope to take control of your life and create moments of authentic joy.

You can learn how to better regulate your emotions during tough times.

You are capable of improving the quality of your relationships.

You want to tap into your authentic self.

You hope to make your health a priority.

My role as a counselor is to provide you with a safe, nonjudgmental environment where we work together to achieve your goals.YOU are the expert of your life, and I am here as your support. I can equip you with the tools you need to make it through.

If you commit to healing and growth, things can get better. Maybe it is hard to picture a thriving life right now, but that's okay. We can get there.

Who I help:

I help teenagers and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, low self-esteem, challenging life transitions, as well as chronic illness.

How I help:

In our sessions we take a look at the negative patterns in your life, and then we co-create new ways to think about and approach them. One step at a time, we learn how to change the negative patterns. Ultimately you will discover that you are capable of doing more than you ever thought possible.

I tailor my approach to each client's unique situation. Depending on your concerns, I develop a treatment plan that outlines your goals and detailed ways in which we can work toward achieving them.

What my clients say about working with me:

I think my clients would say that I am validating, open-minded, genuine, perceptive, and humble. My clients know I care about them! I work hard to make sure each person I work with feels seen, heard, and valued.

Off the Clock:

I am a huge nerd who loves to stick her nose in a fantasy novel or re-watch a favorite Star Wars film. On the weekends I enjoy cuddling up with my 3 fur-babies, cooking/eating delicious food, antique shopping, and getting outdoors every opportunity.

Fun Fact:

I love musical theater! Someday when I have free time I would love to audition for a local theater production. I'll be that awkward chorus dancer strategically placed in the back: dancing clumsily but with joy and fervor.
