Michelle Stantial, Graduate Student Intern
Supervised by Melody Celeste Osborne, MA, LPC-S
Online and In Person, Houston, TX
Areas of Expertise:
Anxiety
Depression
Life Transitions
Parenting
Grief
Approach:
I work to help you gain new insights into your inner world as we explore the thoughts behind your thoughts. As we gain new insights on why you feel and do the things, you will also learn to accept difficult emotions- until they begin to have less influence on you and fade away.
Together, we also “connect the dots” so that you can see the bigger picture and recurring themes in your life. This helps you take inspired action that will lead you in the direction you want to go.
Over time, you can experience greater inner freedom by developing your self-awareness and learning to think things through before acting. As you begin to make different decisions, these tiny, steady changes add up to big transformations over time, bringing about significant changes in your life.

Am I always going to feel like this?
Life is often difficult and rarely straightforward, but this doesn’t mean we should live with constant feelings of stress, anxiety, regret, or depression.
When life feels overwhelming, we try our best to manage these struggles and their resulting shifts in mood, sometimes using coping strategies that prove to be more problematic than helpful.
It leaves us wondering, “What happened? Will I ever feel like my old self?
Will I ever be happy again?”
It takes courage to seek help. However, I will give you a safe and supportive space where we can work collaboratively, tailoring your sessions and treatment to your specific needs as they evolve throughout our work together.
Let’s get started!
Who I help:

They feel that I care for them and challenge them to become the person they want to be.
Off the Clock:
I absolutely love traveling, spending time with my son, reading, and meeting friends for dinner. I’m also a ‘foodie’ and enjoy trying new restaurants!
