If your partner is struggling to communicate with you? Or no matter what, there is always conflict that can’t be resolved.
You need someone who can help navigate it.
You want someone to help you communicate better with your partner or help you resolve some conflict that just seems impossible to find a solution to.
I believe that when you leave my counseling office, you should be able to leave with insight and skills that are practical and applicable in your daily life. I know that you have a home you go back to, and I want to make sure the change and goals we work on are things that can be attainable.
Life is messy, complicated, and just plain overwhelming. Do you ever take a step back and look at your life and wonder, “What the hell happened?” I understand. I want to get to know what is important to you. What are your values, goals, interests and dreams? No matter what issue brought you to seek counseling, I want to hear about it. I want to walk with you and sort through the overwhelming mess. You do not have to do this alone.
Who I help:
My experience allows me to work comfortably with couples, families, teens, and adults. I believe the therapeutic room should be a place of open and honest discussion where you can feel comfortable.
How I help:
I help by focusing on the client on their thoughts, feelings, and actions. I empower them to take control of their own lives and be the expert on what they need to achieve their goals.
What my clients say about working with me:
My clients would say that I am welcoming, non-judgemental, open, honest, and a safe place.
Off the Clock:
In my free time, I spend time with my family and pets. We like to go travel and go camping. I also love to read and watch sports with my husband.
Fun Fact:
I am a trained chef! I worked for years with the best Culinary Experts in Texas. I love to discover new recipes and new restaurants. Working with people and making their experience a positive one is how I approach my counseling clients as well!
Past Experience:
Vandi has spent several years working as a high school counselor at one of the area's largest high schools.
